The American Epilepsy Society's Annual Meeting is the largest meeting and exhibition in the world for those who share the common scientific and clinical interests of epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology. The American Epilepsy Society is a community of physicians, scientists, advanced practice providers, nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists, engineers, pharmacists, advocates, and other professionals engaged in the understanding, diagnosis, study, prevention, treatment, and cure of epilepsy. The AES Fellows Program is the Society's flagship career development program for early career researchers, clinicians, and advanced practice providers. Its goal is to engage promising epilepsy professionals in AES activities, education, and mentoring—and to connect them with AES leaders, members, and each other. AES Fellows attend the Annual Meeting for intensive exposure to epilepsy science, medicine, career skills, networking, top-notch education, and social events.
Program Objectives:-
Following participation in this program, Fellows should be able to:
- Identify various types of careers in epilepsy (academic, practice) and what training and experience are necessary for these respective pathways.
- Define a career path based on extensive interaction with a matched mentor who will address specific aspects of career development.
- Advance their career with additional career management skills, i.e. interviewing and networking.
- Maintain a wide-ranging professional network of epilepsy clinicians and researchers.
- Improve clinical and/or research skills based on learning through AES symposia, special interest groups, investigator workshops, and other education events at the AES Annual Meeting 2025.

Q. Where and when will the 2025 AES Annual Meeting be held?
A. AES 2025 will be held December 5-9, 2025 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA.
Q. Why does my meeting registration not show up immediately in my myAES account?
A. Registration for the AES Annual Meeting occurs in a separate system. Your registration and attendance are added to your myAES account after the meeting each year.
Q. Are children permitted to attend the AES Annual Meeting?
A. Children 17 years of age and younger are welcome at AES 2025 if accompanied by a supervising adult at all times. Individuals under the age of 21 are not permitted to attend any events where alcohol is served. More details about the AES child policy are available on our policies page.
Q. Is there any discount in registration for AES member?
A. To register for the 2025 AES Annual Meeting at the discounted member rate, your membership must be current with an expiration date of June 30, 2026 or later. To receive the member rate on your registration, you must renew or join AES before registering for the meeting. AES will not offer partial refunds of registration fees for those who renew or join after registering for the meeting.
Q. What Are My Options When My Hotel Choice Is Unavailable?
A. Hotels rooms offered through discounted event rates are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. While conducting your search, the online system reflects up-to-the-minute availability and booking options.
Q. Can I share my login?
A. No. Your login credentials are unique to your registration and myAES account and cannot be shared. Additionally, sharing your login will prevent you from earning credit for any sessions you view.
Q. How can I get information about event registration?
A. Registration for the event is handled by a different vendor. Please see the registration page of the event's website for further information or to log in to the registration system.
